The liver plays a major role in metabolism and maintenance of body temperature. It is the important organ that regulates how our body adjusts to the surrounding temperature and how we feel it. In severe liver failure, body temperature is lower than surroundings, which results in shivering.Patients with liver failure have poor immunity and prone to infection.Due to decreased appetite, fever, prolonged weakness and release of bacterial toxins body starts shaking and feeling chills.
