Dr. Jameel J K A is a Consultant - Surgical Gastroenterology in Apollo Hospitals, Greams Lane, Chennai. He is a highly qualified doctor holding degrees in MBBS from Stanley Medical College, Chennai, MSc from the University of Hull, East Yorkshire, UK. And, holds Fellowships from Royal College of Surgeons (in General Surgery), Edinburgh, International College of Surgeons, Royal College of Surgeons, Glasgow and  Royal College of Surgeons of England (in General Surgery), London. Before moving to Apollo Hospitals, Chennai, Dr. Jameel trained and worked in the U.K for about 14 years from 1999 to 2013. He has also undertaken robotic surgical training at the University College Hospitals, London. Also, he holds the Certificate of Completion of Training in the U.K, which only a few overseas doctors achieve. Also, he has been conferred with the Fellowship in Gastrointestinal and Bariatric Surgery by the International College of Surgeons, Chicago, USA. Dr. Jameel J K A has also authored and presented several research papers in International surgical conferences in Europe, USA and Asia.
