Dr. Rakesh Chandra Arya is a Senior Consultant at the Orthopedic Department of Max Hospital, Gurgaon; he completed his MBBS from the Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, and MS (Orthopedics) from the Lady Hardinge Medical College & Associated Hospitals, also in New Delhi. A member of various renowned organizations, including the International Arthroscopy Society (ISAKOS,) European Society of Sports Injuries, Knee & Arthroscopy (ESSKA), and the Indian Arthroscopy Society, Dr. Rakesh Arya is a surgeon of national repute.
Prior to joining the Max Hospital, Dr. Rakesh Chandra Arya was associated with many esteemed medical institutions. He was the Senior Registrar at the Orthopedic Department of Lady Harding Medical College & Associated Hospitals, the Research Officer under CMR Project, at AIIMS, New Delhi, and a Lecturer in Orthopedics, at the National Institute of Orthopedically Handicapped in Calcutta. He has been bestowed with the Visiting Fellowship of various renowned institutions, including the Orthopedic Centre of Southern Illinois (USA), Arthroscopy & Hip/Knee Joint Replacement Surgery (Germany), and the Arthroscopy & Joint Replacement Surgery, Epworth Hospital (Australia). Dr. Arya has multiple national and international publications to his credit, including the Paper on 'Results of Corrective Osteotomy for Cubitus Varus Following Malunited Supracondylar Fracture of Humerus - A Retrospective Study' presented at Annual Conference of Indian Orthopedic Association in Orissa in the year 1986 and the Paper on 'Management of Aseptic Pseudo-Arthrosis of Tibia by AO Compression Plate Osteo-Synthesis - A Review of 40 Cases' presented at the Asian Congress on Trauma, Joint Replacement & Spinal Surgery in Chennai in the year 1987.
