    Generally when we think of fever medication we only remember paracetamols and ibuprofens in day to day life. But our age old Ayurveda science has an abundance of anti -pyretics listed under its expertise .As in covid times everybody came to know the value of herbs and decoctions and there effectiveness. Few age-old antipyretics used by ayurveda experts are Giloy satva as a single drug use, Tribhuvan kirti rasa, Sanshamni Vati , Maha sudharsan kadha and Pathyadi Kadha . All these preparations are used according to different symptoms shown in the fever.
