Miconazole is considered as one the antifungal agent:-
Miconazole is used in the treatment of skin infections such as athlete's foot, jock itch, ringworm, and other fungal skin infections like candidacies. This type of medication is also used to treat a skin condition known as pityriasis which is a fungal infection that causes a lightening or darkening of the skin of the neck, chest, arms, or legs. It works by preventing the growth of yeast or fungus that increases the cause of the infection. This medication works for vaginal fungal infections. You may have a many another type of infection like bacterial vaginosis and may need a different medication for these infections. If you feel like you have the fever, chills, flu symptoms, stomach or abdominal pain, or a bad-smelling urine discharge, do not use this type of medication.
