Hello sir my father got stroke attack on 29 July 2017 according to the last MRI report small lesion in right medulla,few other in subacute lacunar infarcts in left lentiform nucleus and right corona radiata with minimal change of chronic small vessel ischemia and mild generalized cerebral atrophy, small chronic pontine haematoma. His recent medication is T. Sart 40 OD T. Stamol .5 BD Atorva 40 one tbs T Rejunex CD Physiotherapy as well His recovery is 50%in this last one year.I heard alot about you so wanted your opinion and wanted to know in this case surgery is possible or not?I have showed to few doctors so they told in this case surgery is not possible according to them.your guidance will be very helpful for me sir so please do reply

Hello. the medicines you mentioned are the correct medicines for the treatment of stroke that was caused due to a blood clot. these are blood thinners and anti hypertensive agents. how old is your father?
surgery is only advised in those cases where the blood clot is in one of the major areas of the brain that control some sort of physical or mental function. are there any deficits that you notice in him? like forgetting things/ difficulty in understanding anything?
please provide us with his reports for us to guide you better.
