what is her age? diabetes since when? please visit the doctor who diagnosed her diabetes and he/she will suggest you to get tests done for thyroid (TSH). fever must be because of sudden rise of TSH levels.
Please consult with your current neurologist as he/she has the best knowledge about your case. I am not aware what treatment are you taking so don’t want to advise you anything with the incomplete information.

Generally when we think of fever medication we only remember paracetamols and ibuprofens in day to day life. But our age old Ayurveda science has an abundance of anti -pyretics listed under its expertise .As in covid times everybody came to know the value of herbs and decoctions and there effectiveness. Few age-old antipyretics used by ayurveda experts are Giloy satva as a single drug use, Tribhuvan kirti rasa, Sanshamni Vati , Maha sudharsan kadha and Pathyadi Kadha . All these preparations are used according to different symptoms shown in the fever.
