She is a reputed doctor and gives patients her undivided attention. She completed her MBBS from Madras University, Chennai in 1985. Dr. A Venkatalakshmi then went on to pursue Diploma in Child Health (DCH) from The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University (TNMGRMU), in 1990.
