Dr. Alok Gupta has over 2 decades of rich professional experience in his field. His area of interest lies in the treatment of brain tumors, microvascular surgery, Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery. He was also the pioneer of Functional Neurosurgery for Parkinson disease and other movement disorders which were started in Oct 1998. Dr. Alok Gupta has treated several patients suffering from neurological problems in India and gives every patient the best of medical care. A renowned Neurosurgeon, Dr. Gupta in his 21 years of diverse experience has performed more than 175 cases of Functional Neurosurgery for movement disorders and Parkinson's disease that include Pallidotomy and Deep brain stimulation surgery.  Dr. Alok also started Deep brain Stimulation in OCD for the first time in Asia in August 2010 and so far more than 300 Stereotactic biopsies are performed by him in last 10 years.  Dr. Alok Gupta has published several papers in India and abroad and is a member of prestigious medical associations.
