Dr. Amar Vennapusa

Dr. Amar Vennapusa with his 18 years of experience is a Consultant of Minimal Access, Bariatric Surgery & Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery. He completed his MBBS from Kurnool Medical College, Kurnool during the passing batch of 1999 and MS in General Surgery also from the same institution Kurnool Medical College in 2004. Dr. Amar Vennapusa added to his qualification by completing MRCS (UK) from the Royal College of Surgeon of Edinburgh, Uk in 2005.

Dr. Amar Vennapusa is the member of professional medical associations and societies like Fellow of National Board, Life Member of Obesity & Metabolic Surgery Society of India, Member of International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity & Metabolic Disorders, Fellow of Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India, Life Member of Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India etc. He is the recipient of awards like Quiz Winners APASICON September - 2002, Carotid Body Tumour Paper Presentation, APASICON October - 2001, Quiz Winners APASICON October - 2001 etc.

Prior to joining the Continental Hospital, Dr. Amar Vennapusa practised for Nova Specialty Hospitals, Prime Hospitals, Praja Vydyasala Hospitals, Caithness General Hospital, UK etc. He specialises in the delivery of services like Vascular trauma, Liver Disease Treatment, Steatosis, Lymphedema, Liver Surgery, Preoperative treatment, Bariatric (Gastric Bypass) Surgery etc.
