Dr. Anand Somaya

With over 44 years of experience, Dr. Anand Somaya is a celebrated Cardiac Surgeon who is currently working with Wockhardt Hospital, Mumbai. He did his MBBS, and MS in General Surgery from Armed Forces Medical College, Pune. After completing his studies, he joined Armed Forces from 1971 to 1978. 

Then he went on for the training of Cardio-Vascular Surgery. He did a fellowship at the Texas Heart Institute under the supervision of Dr. Denton A. Cooley. Dr. Anand Somaya has offered his services at various hospitals such as Bombay Hospital. He is expert in Cardiac Surgeries, Both Paediatric and adult. 

Dr. Anand is a Member and Founder Member of Vascular Society of India. Also, he is a member of the Indian Association of Cardiovasc and Thoracic Surgeons and Association of Surgeons of India. Also, he is a life member of different associations such as Cardiological society of India and the American College of Chest Physicians, Bombay.
