Dr. Anbezhil Subbarayan

Dr. Anbezhil Subbarayan is a Consultant - Paediatric Endocrinology in Apollo Children's Hospital, Shafee Mohammed Road. He completed his MBBS, MD (Paediatrics) and later went on to pursue M.Sc. Diabetes (U.K) to further expand his base of knowledge. Dr. Subbarayan also completed Fellowship in Paediatric Endocrinology & Diabetes at Great Ormond Street Hospital, London, U.K. and underwent Specialist Registrar training in Paediatrics & Endocrinology at Manchester, U.K. During his brief stint in the UK he worked as a Consultant Paediatric Diabetologist with special interest in Paediatric Endocrinology at Croydon University Hospital, London, U.K. 

Due to his commitment in the field, Dr. Anbezhil has participated in various national and international conferences and has contributed to numerous journals. To make the most out of his talent and skills, he is also a part of various institutes like Royal College of Paediatrics & Child Health, Endocrine Society, U.S.A., British Society of Paediatric Endocrinology & Diabetes, U.K., Indian Society of Paediatric Endocrinology & Diabetes and Indian Academic of Paediatrics. 

He has special expertise in treating children with Growth problems (Short stature & Tall stature), Early puberty, Delayed puberty, Thyroid problems (Hypothyroidism & Hyperthyroidism), Diabetes, Adrenal problems (Addison’s & Cushing’s disease), Hypoglycaemia, Calcium, and Bone disorders and Other Hormonal problems
