Dr. Anil Thakwani

Dr. Anil Thakwani is a renowned Oncologist at Vimhans Nayati Super Speciality Hospital, Nehru Nagar, New Delhi. He attained his MBBS and MD (Radiotheraphy) from S N Medical College, Agra. He carries a vast experience in the field of Radiation Oncology. During the initial years of his career, he worked at several reputable hospitals across India, such as B. N. Medical College and Hospital, Agra, and All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. Since 2008, he has practiced as the Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Radiation Oncology at distinguished hospitals at Punjab, such as Adarsh Charitable Cancer Hospital, Mukhtsar, and Guru Gobind Singh Medical College, Faridkot. Dr. Thakwani specializes in the management of Abdominal Solid Organ Cancers, Head and Neck Cancers, Breast Cancers, Lung Cancers, and other Thoracic Cancers. His contribution to the field of Medicine and to the society has been commendable. Presently he is practicing as a Sr. Consultant - Radiation Oncology at Batra Hospital and Medical Research Centre, New Delhi .Dr. Thakwani is one amongst the most prominent radiation oncologists of Delhi, who has specialization in cancer treatment using radiation therapy as the main modality of the treatment. He has completed his Certification Course on Fundamental Critical Care Support Course in Oncology awarded by Society of Critical Care Medicine, California in 2006. He has also been associated with various prestigious medical colleges across the country. He has done his post doctoral training in Oncology at AIIMS, New Delhi.
