Dr. Antony Paul Chettupuzha

Dr Antony Paul Chettupuzha is the senior consultant of Gastroenterology at VPS Lakeshore Hospital, Kochi, Kerala. He has 22 years of experience as a Gastroenterologist. His qualifications include MBBS from Government Medical College, Thrissur (1993), MD in Internal Medicine from Government Medical College, Amritsar (1998) and DM in Gastroenterology from Government Medical College, Kozhikode (2004). Apart from gastroenterology, his areas of interest include ERCP, Endoscopic Ultrasound, OGD, Capsule Endoscopy, Transabdonminal ultrasound-guided procedures and Colonoscopy.

He received competent training in Double Balloon Enteroscopy from Japan and was the first to start Double Balloon Enteroscopy procedure in Kerala regarding the management of small bowel diseases.

Dr Antony Paul Chettupuzha holds membership of Indian Society of Gastroenterology, Indian Association of Study of Liver and Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He is also an executive member of Indian Society of Gastroenterology, Kerala Chapter and Indian Medical Association, Kochi. He has presented many papers on academic platforms related to Gastroenterology and Hepatology and has published 9 papers till date.
