Dr. Anup Tamhankar completed his MBBS and MS in General Surgery from Seth GS Medical College, KEM Hospital, Mumbai. Post that he completed his MCh. in Surgical Oncology from Tata Memorial Centre, Mumbai, India, and Fellowship in Minimal Access G I oncosurgery and peritonectomy. With more than 14 years of experience as a cancer specialist currently he is working with Terna Speciality Hospital and Research Centre, Navi Mumbai. He has been rewarded with various awards and acknowledgments throughout his long memorable career and has been involved in actively creating & conducting cadaver liver surgery & organ retrieval workshop in IHPBA, Indian chapter, Mumbai, 2014. He has expertise in the field of Peritonectomy & hyperthermic intraoperative intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC). His area of specialization is Breast Surgery, Gastro-Intestinal Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, Head & Neck Surgery, Urological Oncosurgery, Bone & Soft Tissue Surgery, Pediatric Surgery, and Oncology. He also specializes in reconstructive surgery for Head & neck & breast Oncosurgery in the form of free flaps & Oncoplasty.
