Dr. Apurva Vyas

Dr Apurva Vyas is a Consultant in the Department of Minimal Access and General Surgery, at Radiance Hospital, Ahmedabad. He has over 25 years of experience in surgery and has close to 14 years of experience in performing minimal access surgeries and bariatric surgery. His medical interests include guiding patients towards weight management and weight loss, managing gastrointestinal disorders which require surgical interventions, performing mini gastric bypass, ventral hernia, inguinal hernia surgery, appendicectomy, hemicolectomy, gastric sleeve, among others. Dr Apurva Vyas has performed over 17000 minimal access surgeries to date. He holds an MBBS degree, MS in General Surgery from Saurashtra University, Gujarat, and a Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery from Hem Hospital, Coimbatore. He has also received training in Endoscopy from Bhatia Hospital, Gujarat and training in Laparoscopic Surgery from Kovai Medical Centre and Hospitals, Coimbatore.
