Dr. Ashok K Alimchandani

A Consultant at the Department of Psychiatry at Apollo Hospital, Jubilee Hills, Dr. Ashok has over 25 years of rich experience in his field. He completed MBBS from Kakatiya Medical College, Wrangal in 1983, DPM (Psychiatry) from Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad in 1987 and MD - Psychiatry from Institute of Mental Health, Osmania Hospital in 1988. Dr. Ashok has contributed to various research and publications like the Neuropsychiatric profile of children schizophrenics. Dissertation submitted to Osmania Medical College, Osmania University. This was a controlled study comparing 20 children of schizophrenics with an equal number of normal patients and covering tests for attention, visual-motor integration, psychosocial functioning and neurological soft signs.  Dr. Ashok's special interest lies in PSYCHOSOMATIC MEDICINE and CONSULTATION LIAISEN PSYCHIATRY.
