Dr. Das has rich experience in this field as he has successfully performed over 25000 cataract surgeries. He completed his MBBS and was awarded the Dr. Chandra Bose gold medal for standing first in clinical medicine in the state of Tamil Nadu. He completed his postgraduate training in ophthalmology from the world-renowned Aravind Eye Care System. Further, he completed his FRCS from Glasgow, Scotland. And, then he went on to complete his fellowship training in Vitreo-retinal Surgery from Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai.
