Dr. Bala Chandran T G is a Senior Consultant, Surgical Gastroenterology in Apollo Hospitals, Greams Lane, Chennai. He completed his MBBS and MS- General Surgery from Government Medical College, Jabalpur in 1975 and 1980 respectively. Following which he did, MCh - Surgical Gastroentrology from Madras Medical College, Chennai 1995 and Fellowship Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK 1996. Dr. Bala Chandran T G has 35 years of experience in the field of Surgical Gastroenterology and has researched, authored and published several articles in various publications. He also served in Tamil-Nadu Medical Service for 20 years. Dr. Bala Chandran T G with his work in Apollo Hospitals holds tremendous experience in major surgical operations relating to Hepato-biliary & pancreatic diseases, oesophagus. And, he is trained in basic and advanced laparoscopic techniques at Ethicon Endosurgery Institute, Mumbai.
