In June 1997, the Indian Association of Paediatrics held an "Intercollegiate Paediatric Quiz Competition" at Nair Hospital in Mumbai. Dr. Charanjit Singh Dhillon took first place. In March 1996, Dr. Dhillon earned a gold medal in pathology during his second year of medical school.
