Dr. Deshmane Rakesh Rachappa

Dr. Deshmane Rakesh Rachappa is a Consultant in the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Manipal Hospital, Panaji. He has over a decade of experience in surgery. His areas of expertise include performing CABG, valve repair and replacement, minimally invasive cardiac surgery, open-heart surgery, thoracic surgery, and total arterial revascularization. Dr Rakesh Deshmane completed his MBBS in 2002, further completing his MS in General Surgery and MCh in Cardio-Thoracic and Vascular Surgery. He is fluent in English, Hindi, Kannada and Marathi. He is a member of the Medical Council of India, Deccan Cardiovascular Club and Indian Association of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeons.
