Dr. Diptendu Sengupta

Dr. Diptendu Sengupta is a Gastroenterologist currently practicing as a Consultant Gastroenterologist at St. Stephen’s Hospital New Delhi, Max Superspeciality Hospital, Noida and Sri Krishna Medical and Research Centre. Prior to these prominent hospitals, Dr. Diptendu was also associated with the Dharamshila Cancer Hospital in New Delhi.

Dr. Sengupta graduated from Jiwaji University, Gwalior, in 1997 and did his post-graduation from Barkatullah University, Bhopal, obtaining the MD (Internal Medicine) degree in 2000. Dr. Sengupta took up senior residency in the gastro department of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, New Delhi, where he studied and trained for the title of DNB (Gastroenterology) from Sept 2000 to July 2002.

In 10 years of experience, Dr. Diptendu Sengupta has gained expertise in managing all kinds of GI emergencies, outpatients and inpatients. He also has experience in upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, sclerotherapy, EVL achalasia dilatation, esophageal dilatation, esophageal stenting, PEG and polypectomy.
