Dr. G Chandrashekar

Dr. G Chandrashekar is a Consultant in Cardiac Sciences Department. He completed MBBS, MS (General Surgery), MCh (Cardiothoracic Surgery). After completing his education in India, Dr. Chandrashekhar went on to pursue his fellowship, International Fellow in Cardiac Surgery from OLV Clinic, Aalst, Belgium. He is a certified Cardiopulmonary Transplant surgeon and has a total of 4500 heart surgeries to his credit with exceptional results.  Dr. Chandrashekhar's field of expertise lies in Cardio Thoracic & Vascular Surgery, Total Arterial Revascularization (Bypass for Life), Minimal Access Cardiac Surgery (Key Hole Heart Surgery), Cardiopulmonary Transplant Surgery, Pediatric Cardiac Surgery, Valve Repairs, Redo Cardiac Surgery, Video Assisted Thoracic Surgery (VATS) and Surgery on the Aorta and Vascular Surgery. His interest of sharing his passion with the world persuaded him to be a member of various organizations like IMA, Karnataka, Indian Association of Cardiothoracic Surgeons., Vascular Society of India, Endovascular Society, USA. He also contributes to the society through his journals and has a dozen publications in National and International Journals.
