Dr. George P Abraham

Dr George P Abraham is the Consultant of Urology and Renal Transplant at VPS Lakeshore Hospital, Kochi, Kerala. Over the course of his roughly 25 years in practise, he has personally carried out over 2500 renal transplant surgeries. He has also successfully performed endourological surgeries for over 32 years. He is a well-known urologist throughout all of India, and he has received several honours, including the Bharat Vikas Ratna Award, the Lifetime Health Achievement Award, and the Bharat Chikitsak Ratan Award. He holds degrees in MBBS, MCh Urology, MS General Surgery, and BSc. He has successfully finished more than 8500 PCNL cases, 12000 URS cases, and more than 12000 TURPS cases. Additionally, he has performed more than 9000 laparoscopic urological procedures. A live laparoscopic renal transplant was performed by him, making him the third surgeon in the world to receive this honour.
