He completed MBBS from J.S.S Medical College, Mysore in 1996, DNB - Psychiatry from DNB board, New Delhi in 2000 and Diploma in Psychological Medicine (DPM) from National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS) in 1998.
