Dr. Jyoti Mishra is an eminent Gynecologist, Infertility Specialist and a skilled Endoscopic & Robotic Surgeon. After her MD in Obstetrics & Gynecology from Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal, in 1996, Dr. Jyoti Mishra began her training in Minimal Access Surgery (MAS) in Mumbai, a concept which was still in its nascent stages in the rest of the country. She presented a Thesis on “Comparative study of Allylestranol & Promogestone in DUB” in the year 1996. To further refine her skills, in the year 2000, she did her Diploma in Gynecological Endoscopy, from the University of Kiel, Germany.
Dr. Jyoti Mishra’s field of expertise are Hysteroscopy, Laparoscopy and Robotic Surgery for women’s gynecological problems & assisted reproduction. She has worked with many reputed Endoscopic Gynecologists in Mumbai. She has taken training in Endoscopic procedures from Sion Hospital, Laparoscopic procedures from Wadia Hospital, Gynecological & Oncological Surgery procedures from Tata Memorial Hospital and training in Advanced Endoscopic Techniques from BEAMS (Bombay Endoscopy Academy and Centre for Minimally Invasive Surgery). She has also taken Non Descent Vaginal Hysterectomy training in Gujrat.
Dr. Jyoti Mishra was a teaching faculty in various ‘Laparoscopy & Hysteroscopy Training Courses’ held in collaboration with the Ethicon Institute of Surgical Endoscopy, Mumbai. She was also a DNB teacher at the Bhagwati Municipal Hospital, Mumbai and has given Laparoscopy Training at Universal College of Medical Sciences, Nepal. She is a Life Member of various prestigious organizations, some of which include FOGSI (Federation of Obstetricians & Gynecologists of India), IMA (Indian Medical Association), ISAR (Indian Society of Assisted Reproduction), IAGE (Indian Association of Gynecological Endoscopists), IFS (Indian Fertility Society) and AOGD (Association of Obstetricians & Gynecologists of Delhi).
