Dr. K Krishnaiah

Dr. K Krishnaiah is a Senior Consultant - Orthopaedics in Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences, Secunderabad. He completed MBBS from Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS), Tirupati in 1982 and received his basic Orthopaedic training in the U.K. He completed FRCS - General Surgery from Royal Colleges Of Physicians Of Edinburgh, Uk in 1989 and M.Ch - Orthopaedics from University of Liverpool, UK in 1992. Over the years, he gained experience in dealing with a wide variety of trauma including polytrauma, routine Orthopaedic surgeries as well as major operations like Spinal surgeries, Total Hip Replacements, Total Knee Replacements. Dr. K Krishnaiah has also gained expertise in the management of most of the Pediatric Orthopaedic conditions in particular Congenital Hip disease, Perthes disease, and cerebral palsy management.  Upon returning to India, he was instrumental in setting up an Orthopaedic Unit in a multi-specialty hospital promoted by a group of Nonresident Indian doctors in Vijayawada, AP, India. Dr. K Krishnaiah holds a special interest in “ Regenerative Orthopaedics” where preservation and regenerating the damaged joints using PRP, Cells etc.  In his career of more than 3 decades, Dr. K Krishnaiah has been associated with numerous prestigious hospitals like S.V.R.R Hospital, Tirupathi, Andhra Pradesh; Nagarjuna Hospital Kanuru, Vijayawada AP; Medicity Hospital, Sarovar complex Secretariat Road, Hyderabad and many more.
