Dr. KP Morwani won the Best Film Award at the British Academy of Surgery in 2000 for his Laser Partial Arytenoidectomy film. 2000 he was elected President of The Association of Otolaryngologists of India. Aside from his involvement with many hospitals, he has been professionally involved in various ways. He has also worked as an Examiner and Teacher for the National Board of Examinations in New Delhi. Dr. Morwani is now a member of the Association of Otolaryngologists of India, the Indian Medical Association, the Indian Society of Otology, the Skull Base Surgery Society of India, and the Neurological Society of India. Dr. K P Morwani has been named President of the Association of Otolaryngologists of India and an Examiner and Teacher for the National Board of Examinations (DNB) in New Delhi.
