Dr. Kalyan Kumar Gangopadhyay

A renowned endocrinologist and diabetologist, Dr. Kalyan Kumar Gangopadhyay (MD, FRCP, CCST) has worked as a consultant in diabetes at University Hospital in Birmingham, UK, among other positions. He has practised extensively in India and abroad. He is currently a top endocrinologist working in Kolkata's CK Birla Group of Hospitals.

The Stephen Whitaker Prize for the Best Paper - West Midlands, UK, the Owen Wade Prize in Birmingham, the First Prize for the Best Presentation in the Society for Endocrinology, London, and the Nussey Prize in University Hospital Birmingham are just a few of the honours and awards that Dr. Gangopadhyay has received in the UK. In addition to around 40 articles in national and international journals and 16 abstract presentations at conferences abroad in the UK, USA, Canada, and Netherlands, he has produced four book chapters.
