Dr. Magnus Jayaraj Mansard

Dr. Magnus Jayaraj Mansard is a dynamic physician who handles several profiles including Liver Transplant Specialist and Surgical Gastroenterologist. He has more than 15 years of clinical and surgical experience in his profession. Dr. Magnus Jayaraj Mansard has studied MBBS from Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research Puducherry in 2000 followed by MS in Surgery from Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research Puducherry in 2004. Further, he has completed his DNB in Surgical Gastroenterology from the Asian Institute of Gastroenterology Hyderabad in 2009. He has undertaken a Clinical Fellowship in HPB and Liver Transplantation from CLBS, Indraprastha Apollo New Delhi and an advanced fellowship program from the Asan Medical Center in South Korea. He has also joined a membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2013. Dr. Magnus Jayaraj Mansard is actively associated with various organizations including the Indian Medical Association, International Liver Transplantation Society and International Pancreas and Islet Transplant Association. Dr. Magnus Jayaraj Mansard plays a major role as a Founder of the Liver Transplant Unit at KMCH Coimbatore where the first Transplantation is carried out across Tamil Nadu. He has also contributed towards the Organ Donation Drive in Western Tamil Nadu. He has also won ‘BJ Vakil Research Fellow Award’ for an outstanding performance in his profession.
