Dr. Mitu Shrikhande

Dr. Mitu Shrikhande is a talented medical oncologist highly committed to providing best quality care and service in hematology to all her patients. At present she is working as a Senior Oncology Consultant with International Oncology Center at Fortis Flt. Lt. Rajan Dhall Hospital, Vasant Kunj. A well-qualified doctor, Dr. Mitu Shrikhande completed her MBBS from Karnataka University, Dharwad, MD in Internal Medicine from University of Pune and DNB in Internal Medicine from National Board of Examinations, New Delhi. Before joining Fortis, Dr Mitu Shrikhande was working with premiere medical institutes of India like AIIMS, New Delhi; Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai. She had also worked as a faculty in the Department of Clinical Haematology at KEM Hospital and has been associated with several significant Cell research projects conducted by the Department of Biotechnology as well as the bone marrow transplant programme at the Department of Haematology and Bone Marrow Transplantation at the Army Hospital (R&R), New Delhi. Her clinical interest lies in haematology and is well-trained in the diagnosis and treatment of both benign & malignant haematological disorders including complicated anemias, thallassemia, sickle cell disorders, ITP, haemophilias, leukaemia, lymphoma and multiple myeloma, PNH, bone marrow failure syndromes, thrombophilias, bleeding and coagulation disorder. She also has authored several international publications. Dr. Mitu Shrikhande's latest achievement is she successfully carried out an Allogeneic Cell Transplant in a young lady.
