Dr. Navanil Barua

Dr. Navanil Barua is a Neurosurgeon at GNRC Hospital Guwahati. He has over 29 years of experience in his field of specialisation. Dr. Navanil Barua completed MBBS in 1985, MS in General Surgery in 1989 followed by M.Ch. in Neurosurgery in 1997 from Guwahati University. Further, he joined an advanced training program in Spinal Surgery from Davos and Basel Switzerland.

Dr. Navanil Barua elected as a first person from North East India as Executive Member of national neuroscience body. He is an executive member of Neurological Society of India, Neurotrauma Society of India, American Society of Anesthesiologists, and AO Spine. He has carried out over 4,000 brain and spine surgeries.
