Dr. Neepa Thakkar

Dr. Neepa Thakkar is a Senior Consultant - Paediatric Ophthalmology in Nanavati Hospital, Surya Hospital, Bombay Hospital & SRCC Children's Hospital, Mumbai. She has an experience of more than 24 years in the field of medicine. She completed her MBBS from the University of Mumbai during the passing batch of 1993. She then went on to pursue MS in Ophthalmology from the King Edward Memorial Hospital and Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College in 1997 and DNB in Ophthalmology from the National Board of Examination in 1998. Dr. Neepa Thakkar is the member of professional medical associations and societies like the Bombay ophthalmologist association, Maharashtra Ophthalmological Society, All India Ophthalmological Society, Association of Medical Consultants, Strabismological Society of India etc. She has also received several national and international awards for her contribution to the field of medical science and her domain.   Dr. Neepa Thakkar specialises in the treatment of disorders like Pediatric Ophthalmology & Strabismus, Retina Examination, Retina Surgery and Lasik, Dry Eye - Evaluation / Treatment etc. Prior to joining the SRCC Hospital, she practised for KBHB eye & ENT hospital and Nanavati Hospital.
