Venkataramana has worked with BGS Global Hospitals Bangalore as a Vice Chairman and National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences Karnataka. He is a founder of Neurosurgery department of Manipal Institute for Neurological Disorders in Manipal Hospital, Bangalore.
