Dr. NS Devananda

The HOD of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery. Dr. NS Devananda has over 29 years of experience in his field. He completed MBBS, Karnataka Medical College, Hubli followed by MS (Gen. Surgery), Seth G.S Medical College, Mumbai. To further accomplish his interest, Dr. Devananda went on to do MCh (Cardio Thoracic) Sri Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Science and Technology Trivandrum (Institute of National Importance).

Dr. NS Devananda's area of expertise lies in performing several successful surgeries like Aortic Aneurysm Surgery, Complex Valve Surgery and Repair, Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery, Beating Heart CABG, Neonatal/Infant/Paediatric Cardiac Surgery, Heart Transplants and Ventricular Assist Devices.

Dr. NS Devananda has been awarded the Rotary Centenary Award for Vocational excellence and has 12 papers (published in national and international journals) to add to his credit. He has performed more than 7000 Paediatric and Adult Surgeries.
