Dr. PR Bhima Shankar

Dr PR Bhima Shankar is a Senior Consultant in the Department of Cardiology and Electrophysiology at VPS Lakeshore Hospital, Kochi, Kerala. He is a highly experienced Cardiologist, who has been this field for more than 12 years.

He pursued his graduation as well as MD-General Medicine from Madras Medical College, Madras. Moreover, he completed DM- Cardiology from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. Dr PR Bhima acquired a fellowship of Electrophysiology (AIIMS, Delhi). He also has an international fellowship of Electrophysiology at Sinai St Luke’s hospital (University of Wisconsin) at Milwaukee.
Dr PR Bhima attained an Observership in EP at the Brigham and Women’s hospital, Boston. Apart from this, he also has a certification in invasive electrophysiology from European Heart Rhythm Association.
