His affinity for knowledge took him to further and he did MD in Gastroenterology from MGM Medical College, Indore. Dr. Prashanth PN has also done DM in Gastroenterology from Christian Medical College, Vellore.

Dr. Prashanth PN was a Resident at MGM Medical College; he was also a Consultant at MS Ramaiah Memorial Hospital. He specializes in inflammatory bowel diseases, liver cirrhosis, fatty livers, viral hepatitis, irritable bowel syndrome, esophageal strictures and dilatations, pancreatic diseases, and gall bladder stones and other biliary diseases.
