About Dr. Raj Mandot -

Dr. Raj Mandot is one of the greatest Nephrologists in the entire nation. He was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Nephrology and Transplant Sciences, Institute of Kidney Diseases and Research Center (IKDRC), in Ahmedabad. He was a Gold Medalist in DM Nephrology. He now works at Shalby Ahmedabad as a Consultant Nephrologist and Transplant Physician. He has also served as the Medical Advisor for Nephrology Services at Nephron Dialysis Centers in Ahmedabad and Intas Pharmaceuticals Ltd.

Work and achievements of Dr. Raj Mandot-

Dr. Raj Mandot has done more than 4000 renal biopsies (both native and transplanted kidneys) and over 1000 renal transplants (both live and cadaveric donors) over the last 18 years. Managing critical care patients (SLED/CRRT) is his particular area of focus.

Since 1999, Dr. Mandot has performed kidney transplants. To date, he has performed more than 1100 kidney transplants. Additionally, he has performed organ transplants on about 45 foreign patients, including those from the USA, UK, UAE, Nigeria, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, and Sierra Leone. The transplant program for overseas patients began in close collaboration with Dr. Mark Sanwo, a pediatrician from Nigeria who had received a kidney transplant in 2000. Dr. Adegboyega Oke, director of Fortress Health Consultants in Nigeria, continued the presentation. Around 150 international patients with various renal conditions have received treatment from Dr. Mandot throughout their twelve-year partnership.
