Dr. Rajiva Gupta pursued MBBS from GB Pant Hospital and Maulana Azad Medical College New Delhi in 1980 followed by MD in Internal Medicine from Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research Chandigarh in 1985. Further, he has done Postgraduate Diploma in Diabetology from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 2014.

Dr. Rajiva Gupta has been an active member of Association of Physicians of India, American College of Cardiology, Indian Medical Association, Geriatric Society of India and Research Society for the Study of Diabetes in India. He has previously worked at Max Super Speciality Hospital Shalimar Bagh, Max Hospital Pitampura and Sunder Lal Jain Hospital Ashok Vihar.
