With degrees of MBBS from the Government Medical College in Jammu and MS (Surgery) from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi, Dr. Rakesh Kumar is a Consultant in the Department of General Surgery at the Columbia Asia Hospital in Gurgaon. Prior to joining this hospital, he has also worked with AIIMS, as a Consultant in the same department. He specializes in Laparoscopic and Minimal Invasive Surgery for Gallstones, Appendix, Hernia, as well as, Weight Loss Surgery. With a vast experience of over 11 years, Dr. Kumar has a track record of performing several rare surgeries successfully. He has been actively involved in many workshops & conferences all across the country and is a member of various prestigious organizations.
