Dr. Rakesh Rai

Dr. Rakesh Rai is a Senior Consultant of the Hepatobiliary and Transplant Surgery Department. He has over 27 years of vast experience in his field of specialization. He has spent almost 15 years in the UK and USA working in the most renowned transplant centers in the world. Dr. Rai is trained extensively in hepato-biliary-pancreatic surgery and solid organ transplantation (liver, kidney, and pancreas). He completed his training in the UK from centers like Royal Free Hospital, London, Freeman Hospital, Newcastle and Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham. Thereafter, he moved to the US and did his fellowship at Methodist Transplant Institute at Memphis. Dr. Rakesh Rai is also experienced in living donor liver transplantation. He is a recipient of several scientific articles published in International medical journals as well as the book.
