Dr. Rakesh Tandon

With a successful illustrious career of 48 years, Dr. Rakesh Tondon needs no introduction. He is an alumnus of the KG Medical College Lucknow. He perused MD degree from the same college. Furthermore, Dr. Tondon completed another year of medical residency, followed by three years of a gastroenterology fellowship in the USA. He started his medical career with AIIMS as an Associate Professor of Medicine and eventually promoted to the position of HOD Gastroenterology.

Dr. Rakesh Tandon has a stellar professional background. His area of expertise involves management of Gastrointestinal, Liver and Pancreatic Biliary diseases. For his achievements, he has been honored with various recognitions, including prestigious Fellowship of FRCP (Hon), FAMS and FAGA, “Dr. B.C.Roy Award” for being Eminent Teacher, Gold medal for best thesis in M.D. (Medicine) and many more. To share his knowledge and experience, Dr. Tandon has authored many medical journals as well as mentored many medical practitioners. Forthwith, he is available at PSRI, Delhi as HOD Gastroenterology. At the same time, he is also practicing as Senior Consultant, Gastroenterology with Max Super Specialty Hospital, New Delhi.
