Dr. Ravikumar R is a well-known cardiologist with approximately 26 years of experience. He is a Senior Consultant and Associate Clinical Lead - Heart Failure, Cardiology. He completed his MBBS from the University of Madras in 1984 and MD in General Medicine from Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, Pondicherry in 1989.

Then he pursued his fellowship from Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions, USA. He has undergone special training and obtained a fellowship in heart failure from the European Society of Cardiology. After completing his fellowship, he worked with different hospitals like Fortis Malar Hospital, Chennai, Gleneagles Global Hospital, Chennai and others.

Currently, Dr. Ravikumar R is providing his services at Global Hospital, Mumbai. He is the first to initiate the Radial Angioplasty program in Bangladesh and Nairobi. He has treated several patients throughout his medical journey. Dr. Ravikumar is a member of the Kenyan Society for Cardiology and All African Society of Cardiology, PASCAR.
