Dr. S Radha Krishnan

Since the past 40 years, Dr. S Radhakrishnan has been offering exemplary care in the field of cardiology. He is presently the Director of the Department of Pediatric Cardiology. He excels in all aspects of the medical field, however, he has pioneered interventional cardiology. Dr. S Radhakrishnan was an instrumental part in conducting the first Balloon Dilation of the Atrial Septum and Mitral Balloon Valvuloplasty at AIIMS, New Delhi. He is also recognized for performing more than 3000 cardiac catheterizations. He has also executed over 5000 echocardiography cases. Another achievement bagged by Dr. Krishnan is performing over 500 Mitral Balloon Valvuloplasties cases. Dr. S Radhakrishnan’s medical education includes various prestigious degrees including MBBS, MD, and DM (Cardiology). He has been an integral part of numerous institutions before joining Fortis. These include Mayo Clinic, Minnesota, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi and Guys Hospital, London. He has treated several patients suffering from heart diseases in India and gives every patient the best of medical attention.
