Dr S Saravanan is a Senior Consultant of Radiation Oncology at VS Hospital, Kilpauk, Chennai. He has an experience of over 21 years. His areas of expertise include Radiation Oncology, Hematologic Oncology, Cancer Screening (Preventive), Brachytherapy (Internal Radiation Therapy) and External Beam Radiation For Prostate Cancer. After graduating from Chengalpattu Medical College, Tamil Nadu, he acquired MD- Radiotherapy from Madras Medical College, Chennai in the year 1999. He holds to his credit the performance of over 2000 successful brachytherapy procedures.

Dr Sarvanan is supremely skilled in treatment of lung cancer, breast cancer, gastro intestinal cancer, gynecological cancer, head and neck cancer etc. He has been trained at prestigious institutions in India, under exemplary senior doctors. Dr Sarvanan has also been awarded with Padma Singh award for his commendable service in the field of medicine.
