With degrees of MBBS, MRCS (Edinburgh), and FIAS, Dr. Sameer Anand is a Consultant of the Department of Orthopedics & Joints Replacement Surgery at the Max Super Specialty Hospital in Gurgaon. He pursued his MBBS from the MKCG Medical College & Hospital in Behrampur in the year 1993. After receiving training under Prof M.S. Ghosh at the Kothari Medical Center in Calcutta, he left for the United Kingdom to gain more experience in the field of Orthopedics and Spine Surgery. In UK, he was associated with the Nevill Hall Hospital South Wales, the Royal Gwent Hospital in Newport, and the Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford. Trained in Advanced Cardiac & Trauma Life Support, he completed his Basic AO Course from Leeds, and he was also a member of the Disaster Management Team at the Nevill Hall Hospital. After returning to India, he joined the Indian Spinal Injuries Center under Dr. H.N. Bajaj. With a special interest in Minimal Invasive Spine Surgery, he has the credit of developing the use of Ozone in Prolapsed Disc Surgery. Awarded the fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, Dr. Anand is passionate about the latest management protocols.
