Dr. Shashank Maheshwari

Dr Shashank Maheshwari is a Consultant in the Department of General and Laparoscopic Surgery. He has an experience of more than 24 years in the field. He is supremely skilled in performing Minimal Access & Bariatric Surgery.

He holds an MS- General Surgery along with his MBBS degree. He also acquired fellowship of Association of Surgeons of India, Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endo-Surgeons and International College of Surgeons. He is credited with establishing a 40-bedded healthcare facility and nurtuting it to be a well recognized private facility in Western UP. He was also the Director of the Department of General and Laparoscopic Surgery at Maheshwari Hospital Pvt. Ltd, Mathura. Moreover, he has worked as a Senior Resident at St. Stephen’s Hospital – Cardio Thoracic Unit and Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi. He has received many recognitions and awards for his service in the field of medicine. He also received many awards from Rotary International and IMA for the same. He was the first doctor in Mathura to start Trauma & Medico legal emergencies centre.

Dr Shashank Maheshwari is a member of important societies and associations like Association of Surgeons of India, Minimal Access Surgeons of India and Society of Endoscopic and Laparoscopic Surgeons of India. He was the former President of Rotary Club of Mathura and is currently the President of IMA, Mathura.
