Dr Shawn T Joseph is a Senior Consultant in the Department of Head and Neck Surgical Oncology at VPS Lakeshore, Kochi, Kerala. This department offers services in a wide range of head and neck cancer surgeries like microvascular reconstruction, transoral laser surgeries for larynx cancers and endoscopic skull base surgeries. Dr Shawn T Joseph has been in the field of ENT, Head and Neck Surgery and Surgical Oncology for more than 14 years and has performed upto 2000 head and neck cancer surgeries till date. He graduated from Government Medical College, Calicut and completed MS- ENT from BJ Medical College and Civil Hospital, Ahemdabad. He further acquired MCh- Head and Neck Surgery and DNB- ENT from Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. Dr Shawn T Joseph is the founder Director of Institute of Head and Neck Sciences, at VPS Lakeshore Hospital. He also founded Kocher's Club, a club meant for promoting innovations and new ideas regarding Head and Neck Surgeries. He is a lifetime member of Indian Medical Association, Foundation for Head and Neck Oncology, Skull Base Society of India and Indian Society of Reconstructive Microsurgery. He is also a member of Association of Otolaryngologists of India, Cochin, Kerala and an affiliate member of AOCMF. He was the recepient of multiple awards for his excellence in medical field and conferences. He also holds to his credit several publications in medical journals and medical paper presentations.
