Dr. Shivendra Singh

Dr. Shivendra Singh, a senior consultant and chief at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre, has had 9 years of experience and specializes in Gastrointestinal surgery. Earlier in his career, he helped setting up the Liver Transplant programme at Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences located in New Delhi.   Dr. Shivendra Singh had been awarded the French Govt. Scholarship for training in advanced laparoscopic GI surgery at the University of Paris. His main areas of interest lies in radial surgery for gallbladder cancer, liver and pancreatic tumours, liver transplantation and laparoscopic surgeries for gastrointestinal malignancies.   Dr. Shivendra Singh completed his MBBS from King George's Medical University in Lucknow. He then went on to pursue MS in Surgery from the same college - King George's Medical University. He has also done MCh in Gastrointestinal Surgery) from GB Pant Hospital & Maulana Azad Medical College and Fellowship in Liver transplantation and Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery from Queen mary hospital in Hong Kong and Montsouris institute in Paris respectively.
