Dr. J. Shyamala is a renowned Pediatrician with more than 19 years of clinical experience in her field of specialization. She is currently associated with Apollo Children's Hospital Shafee Mohammed Road and Apollo First Med Hospitals Kilpauk.

Dr. J. Shyamala has completed MBBS followed by Diploma in Child Health. Further, she has pursued DNB in Pediatrics from National Board of Examinations New Delhi. She is a registered member of Indian Academy Of Pediatrics and Madras Naturalist Society. She is a ‘Life Member’ of National Neonatology Forum. She has won Prize for II best oral presentations on Acute Acalculous Cholecystitis in enteric fever in Children Conference on Paediatric Gastroenterology in 1996. She is a ‘Gold Medalist’ in Microbiology at Stanley Medical College.
